| WHAT IS LIGHTHOUSE RECOVERY? The Lighthouse Recovery Program is a 12 Step program that is designed to reach the recovering community through the healing power of Jesus Christ. Biblical Principles are used along with the 12-step recovery Bibles to give experience, strength hope and faith to individuals who are trapped in the grip of addiction. We know that personal relationship with Jesus Christ and being accountable to others is the key to successful recovery God understands and so do we. PRIMARY SERVICES We offer a 6-month to 2-year transitional housing/rehab program for both men and women in separate facilities. An environment living environment is offered to those who seek learn new sober and productive life patterns. Our residents live in an environment committed to abstinence and recovery. We provide housing, food-clothing access to medical care transportation and education toward a better way of life. We encourage personal responsibility in all areas of life, self respect, respect for others, and commitment and we enforce a zero-tolerance for alcohol/drug use and inappropriate behavior among our residents. Our program is geared toward returning the residents to the community and to their families sober, responsible, working, law-abiding citizens. We help them become self-sufficient obtain employment, find a permanent place to live and gain permanent cessation from the use of drugs, alcohol and dysfunctional lifestyles. |

| MEETINGS Meetings are held Monday through Saturday at 7:00 p.m. at 311 East Main Street in Washington, Indiana. The meetings are designed to appeal to any addiction. The evil of addiction is not particular of age, sex, race or social culture. It has only one intention and that is to claim the power over your life. The meetings are opened to anyone who has the desire to break free in a safe loving and healing place. | OUR MISSION STATEMENT Our Mission is for the Lighthouse Recovery Center to Glorify God by helping those who are struggling with addictions or compulsive behaviour, to be set free by the Power of Jesus Christ. We offer a safe place for those who are struggling with addictions or compulsive behavior to come and learn a better lifestyle through a 12-step Christian based program. |
1. We admitted we were powerless over our dependencies -- that our lives had become unmanageable. 2. Came to believe that Jesus Christ could restore us to sanity. 3. Made a decision to turn our will and our life over to the care of Jesus Christ. 4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves. 5. Admitted to Jesus Christ, to ourselves and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs. 6. Were entirely ready to have Jesus Christ remove all these defects of character. 7. Humbly asked Jesus Christ to remove our shortcomings. 8. Made a list of all persons we had harmed and became willing to make amends to them all. 9. Made direct amends to such people whenever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others. 10. Continued to take personal inventory, and when we were wrong, promptly admitted it. 11. Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with Jesus Christ, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry it out. 12. Having had a relationship with Jesus Christ, we try to carry this message to others and practiced these principles in all our affairs. |
